Merope Pavlides, Owner, Trainer, Behavior Consultant has
over ten years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. Merope has an MS in Special Education and is a Certified
Pet Dog Trainer and a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, as well as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. In addition, she
holds a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid. Merope has published articles
on dog training and behavior in Chronicle of the Dog, and Animal Behavior and Consulting: Theory and Practice
, writes a newspaper column on pets, and has a book forthcoming from Jessica Kingsley Publishers entitled Animal-Assisted
Interventions for Individuals with Autism. She has completed workshops with dog training experts such as Ian Dunbar,
Karen Pryor, Trish King, Emma Parsons, and Kathy Sdao, has completed Harvard University's course in Canine Psychology, and
spends her summers training shelter dogs. She is mom to two teenage human boys, as well as two mixed-breed dogs.
